ADVOCATE shall be a person who has a profession to provide legal services, both inside or outside the court in accordance with provisions of this Law.

Legal Services

As a professional legal practice, 2 e L – IMMANUEL A. WIDJAJA, S.H., M.H. & PARTNERS provides comprehensive legal representation and advocacy services for individuals, corporations, and other legal entities throughout Indonesia.

Our legal services include, but are not limited to:

  1. Preparing and filing civil lawsuits to protect clients’ legal rights and interests;
  2. Representing clients in civil proceedings, including filing counterclaims (reconvention);
  3. Filing objections, interventions, and legal resistance (verzet) where clients’ rights or interests are adversely affected;
  4. Assisting clients in the enforcement of final and binding court judgments (inkracht van gewijsde) and other legally enforceable instruments;
  5. Representing and accompanying clients during police investigations, witness examinations, criminal proceedings, arrests, detention, and prosecution;
  6. Providing legal defense for defendants before courts throughout Indonesia;
  7. Filing appeals before the High Court and cassation petitions before the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia;
  8. Advising clients on the most appropriate dispute resolution strategies based on their legal and commercial interests;
  9. Other legal representation and advocacy services as required.

  2. We do not guarantee the outcome of any legal proceeding or promise success in any case.
  3. We reserve the right to decline representation where a matter lacks a sufficient legal basis or conflicts with applicable laws and professional ethics.
  4. We are entitled to receive professional legal fees (honorarium), determined fairly and transparently based on mutual agreement with the client.
  5. Our legal practice extends throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
